Afteralls

FAQ

Questions,
Answered.

Everything worth knowing about the services, the workflow, files, revisions and what working with Afteralls actually involves.

Services

What services do you offer?

Six: photo editing and retouching, video editing and post-production, content creation and production, graphic design, motion graphics and animation, and AI creative production. Most clients start with one and add others as the working relationship settles.

Do you work on non-wedding photo and video projects?

Yes. Commercial, product, fashion, portrait, corporate and social work all pass through the same studio. Weddings are a specialism, not a limit.

Wedding

Do you handle complete wedding post-production?

Yes, the whole workflow from one place. Gallery editing, colour, retouching, album design, the full film, highlights, teasers and vertical reels. You send the day; you get back everything you deliver to your client.

Can you edit both wedding photos and videos?

Yes, and it is the reason most wedding studios come to us. Handling both means the film and the gallery share one look, rather than arriving from two suppliers who have never spoken.

Do you design complete wedding albums?

Yes. Layout, sequencing, spread design, visual consistency across the book, and print-ready preparation to your lab's specification. Revisions are part of the process.

Can you create wedding reels and highlights?

Yes. Highlight films, teasers, ceremony and reception cuts, and vertical 9:16 reels cut specifically for social rather than cropped down from the landscape edit.

Style

Can you match my editing style?

That is the core of how we work. Send previous galleries or finished films and we build to your look, not ours. Your client should see your style. That is the whole point of outsourcing well.

Can I provide presets or LUTs?

Please do. Presets, LUTs, camera profiles and export settings all help, and they make the first project noticeably faster.

Can you follow brand guidelines?

Yes. Type, colour, logo usage, spacing rules, tone: send the guide and we work inside it.

Can you match previous projects?

Yes. Past work is often the most useful reference you can give us, because it shows the result rather than describing it.

Workflow

How does the process work?

Three stages. You send files and a brief; we organise, edit and review internally; you review, request changes, and we deliver the finals. The first project sets your preferences, and everything after it is faster.

What is the typical turnaround time?

It depends on the volume and the service, so we agree a delivery date with you before the work starts rather than quoting a blanket figure. Tell us your deadline when you send the brief and we will confirm what is realistic, including whether we can meet a tight one.

Can I start with a free sample?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Send one image, one short sequence or a handful of frames and we will edit it to your style. The sample is the pitch, and it costs you nothing to judge the quality.

Do you handle ongoing or recurring work?

Yes. Recurring volume is what the studio is built for: regular weekly or monthly batches, seasonal overflow, and a consistent editor on your account so preferences do not have to be re-explained.

Files

How do I send my files?

However you already work. Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or your own transfer system. Send a link and we will work from it. We do not ask you to adopt a new tool to become a client.

What file formats do you work with?

RAW files from any current camera system, along with the usual delivery formats. For video, camera-native footage plus your project file if you have one. If you are unsure, send a small test and we will confirm before you upload everything.

How do I receive the finished work?

Through the same route the files arrived by, in the formats and sizes you specify: web-sized JPEGs, full-resolution TIFFs, print-ready album spreads, and video in the codecs and aspect ratios your delivery needs.

Revisions

How do revisions work?

You review the first version and send notes, per image, per cut, or across the whole set. We revise and send the next version. The number of rounds included is agreed with your quote so it is clear from the start rather than discovered later.

What if the result is not what I expected?

Tell us specifically what is wrong and we will correct it. Early projects occasionally need more direction while we learn your preferences; that is expected and it is not billed as a change of scope.

Business

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. The studio works remotely with photographers, videographers and agencies internationally, and across time zones, so work sent at the end of your day is in progress while you sleep.

Do you offer white-label services?

Yes. We work behind your brand. Your client deals with you, receives work under your name, and never sees ours unless you choose to tell them.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Send yours and we will sign it, or we can provide one.

How does pricing work?

Pricing depends on the service, the volume and the turnaround, so it is quoted per project or per ongoing arrangement rather than from a fixed rate card. Send the details through the quote form and you will get a specific figure, not a range.

AI

Do you create AI images and videos?

Yes. AI creative production is one of the six services. Generated imagery, AI video, compositing and extending real footage with generated elements.

Is AI used in every project?

No. AI is used where it genuinely helps and where you want it. A wedding gallery is edited by an editor; AI-assisted tools may speed up masking or cleanup, but the judgement stays human and nothing is generated into your photographs without your say-so.

Can AI work be combined with traditional editing?

Yes, and that is usually the strongest result: a real photograph or real footage as the foundation, with generated elements used deliberately for what could not be captured.

Security

Is my client's material kept confidential?

Yes. Material you send is used only to do your work. It is not shared, resold, or published, and it is not used as our portfolio unless you give explicit permission.

Can I use the work as my own?

Yes, that is what white-label means. Finished work is yours to deliver, publish and credit as your own.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. A real person reads every message.
